It’s easy to look at this price tag and immediately scream "corporate greed"... but the actual reality of why this console costs more than a PS5 Pro is way more complicated. In this video, we dive into the global hardware market and the severe component shortages which forced Valve's hand on hardware costs. But even with that economic context... I’m deeply torn on whether I should actually enter the lottery reservation queue before it closes on June 25th. When you look at what this machine actually delivers relative to its premium price tag, the performance-to-price ratio just doesn't line up well for my specific setup and what I'll actually use it for.
