LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is easily one of the best looking, most ambitious superhero games we’ve seen from TT Games. From the massive open-world Gotham City to the fluid, Arkham-style combat, it gets almost everything right. But there is a massive catch that ruins the experience for a lot of players: the multiplayer.
In this video, I break down why LEGO Batman Legacy of The Dark Knight gameplay is a near-perfect masterpiece in single-player, but an absolute mess when it comes to co-op. Between the complete lack of online co-op and some seriously rough performance drops and lag during split-screen couch co-op, TT Games omitted the one feature that would make this LEGO game iconic.
