Marathon is a first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and co-published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and Bungie. Announced in May 2023, the game will be the first new entry in Bungie's original Marathon series since the release of Marathon Infinity.
Marathon is a PvPvE sci-fi extraction shooter from Bungie (creators of Halo/Destiny) launching March 5, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Players take on the role of cybernetic "Runners" to explore the hostile, derelict planet Tau Ceti IV, aiming to secure loot and escape alive, either solo or in teams.
